Laser removal of stretch marks

Stretch marks or stretch marks are red, purple or white streaks on the surface of the wine. Stretch marks occur when the wine is stretched extensively or rapidly, or when hormonal changes occur. Stretch marks often occur during or after pregnancy, weight gain or weight loss. Stretch marks do not pose a health risk and do not interfere with the normal functioning of the body, but they are a source of discomfort for many people who seek to get rid of them for aesthetic reasons.

Long pulse Nd:yag laser treatment is effective for reddish-purple stretch marks, and fractional CO2 laser for white streaks.

The Nd:yag laser acts in the middle layer of the skin and stimulates collagen and elastin production, which promotes the growth of new and healthy cells, so stretch marks fade. The laser blocks the blood vessels that cause the reddish-purple colour of stretch marks.

The fractional CO2 laser treatment also regenerates the subcutaneous connective tissue elements and removes part or all of the epidermis, including part of the dermis, eliminating the uneven texture of the skin surface, thus renewing the epithelial surface. The laser causes small, columnar "holes" of tissue damage in the skin. These small lesions, like tiny wounds, encourage the surrounding intact skin to heal, forming new collagen fibres. Laser peels renew the regenerating skin, and as the heat generated coagulates the connective tissue fibres, the skin becomes firmer, stretch marks and stretch marks fade, and the condition of the wine improves. After fractional laser treatment, the optimal improvement, i.e. the final result, becomes visible after 1 month, as collagen regeneration and wine tightening continue until then. The improvement in skin texture is already visible within a week after the treatment!

*Stretch marks, however, cannot be completely eliminated, only faded, and the skin condition can be improved.
